“For the past three years a problem in my neck affecting my swallowing, voice, sleep apnea and causing discomfort went undiagnosed. Doctors including an ENT (ear, nose and throat), Neurologist, and Physiatrist were not able to identify or treat the problem.I am so fortunate to be in treatment with Carol Cote, PT who identified the problem and has effective treatments. After the first treatment I began to see an improvement in something that I have been suffering with for 3 years.”
“I came to North Jersey Physical Therapy for shoulder pain and I am very pleased to be a patient there. I had previous experience with another physical therapist who only looked at my shoulder and in the end was not able to help me. Carol’s approach is much more comprehensive. She evaluated how other parts of my body affected how I used my shoulder, and by teaching me key exercises has helped me get stronger as my pain is reduced. I think the difference is that she is able to help me stop compensating for weak muscles with other muscles, which leads to my pain. I highly recommend her and her knowledgeable team.”
“North Jersey Physical Therapy is an outstanding facility! Just a few of the many positive features: Comprehensive, clear evaluation of the complete, sometimes complex problem needing treatment. Hands on, extremely knowledgeable therapists who not only treat, but educate patients. Clean, comfortable, well equipped treatment rooms. Caring, compassionate, efficient support staff. We feel blessed to have found these wonderful people!”
“For over 35 years I have suffered with a TMJ problem which worsened year over year. I have hadnumerous appliances developed by my dentist—all which have done nothing. It wasn't until I startedseeing Carol that I started finding relief and began to be able to open my jaw. Her approach is like noneother I have experienced and am so grateful for all her hard work in helping me. This practice is aGodsend.”
“My Eureka Moment! In February 2020, North Jersey Physical Therapy, finally identified not only the source of the ‘popping‘ and the source of the pain I’ve experienced in my right hip for 25+ years, but also the root cause. My hip issues not only included hip joint dysfunction, hip and groin muscles, pelvic obliquity, and pelvic instability, but also my pelvic floor muscles and deep hip rotator muscles that had never been identified as components to my chronic hip problem. For years, prior PT identified knee stretching and strengthening on individual areas of my hips, pelvis, gluts and lower extremity. This was helpful, but never identified or addressed a core set of hip stabilizer issues or the root cause of my condition. This always limited the effectiveness of the exercises/repairs in other related areas and over time, contributed to the original issues too. By identifying that set of undiagnosed conditions, the root cause, North Jersey Physical Therapy has been able to lead me on a path to true resolution of my condition and regaining my quality of life. ”
“Absolutely incredible. I have had chronically tight neck and shoulders practically my entire life, managing it with massage, chiropractic care, and exercise. Recently I had some numbness in my forearm/hand and my perceptive nurse practitioner recommended I see Carol. Within my first session, Carol was able to find the root cause of my issues, and it’s because I’m tongue-tied! She gave me exercises to do and I immediately started to see some improvement. I’m so thankful to finally have something that will be able to fix the source of the problem instead of always just chasing the symptoms. Thank you Carol!”
“I am a long-time runner who just recently started to experience some hip-related issues. A doctor I had seen years’ prior had given me Carol Cote’s info in case I should ever be interested in a running evaluation. Since I have been having some issues, I retrieved her info from my files and decided to contact Carol and boy, am I glad I did! She is a runner herself and is extremely knowledgeable about runners’ issues and the importance of getting to the root cause of the problem. You can also tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. I saw her several times over the span of about 3 weeks and walked out of there with no pain and an abundance of knowledge about the importance of mobility and form. Thanks to Carol and the staff of both the Hackettstown and Morristown offices. I highly recommend!”
“Carol is the BEST of the BEST. Her approach to treatment, attention to detail, and expertise in soft tissue work and myofascial pain sets her apart from just about every other PT I have ever seen.I am a professional runner and have been treated by Carol since I was in high school for a variety of injuries including sacral stress fracture, SI issues, weak hips/glutes, sprained midfoot, and most recently an injury that kept me from training for 2 months. I saw many PTs and doctors for this injury and most told me I couldn’t run for 6-8months. I drove from RI to NJ to get Carol’s opinion and she had me running within 1 hour. I spent the next few weeks driving 4 hrs back and forth just to see Carol. 6 weeks out from the marathon I was training for, I went from struggling through training runs due to pain to completing the marathon and qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Trials. I would not have been able to make it to the start line, let alone the finish line, without Carol. I value her treatment, knowledge, and experience and am so thankful for her help! The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and up to date on the most recent treatment including cupping, Graston, and active release therapy. I highly recommend Carol and the rest of her staff at North Jersey Physical Therapy.”
